Pottery Wheel Kids

A fun and creative school holiday activity!

Join us for afternoons (2:00 pm–3:30 pm) at the Wood Fired Pottery School.

Upcoming sessions:

Thursday 1 Oct 2 pm–3:30 pm
Tuesday 6 Oct 2 pm–3:30 pm
Thursday 8 Oct 2 pm–3:30 pm

Each session offers a hands-on introduction to working with clay. Kids will learn about clay, kilns, and pottery wheels while creating something unique to take home once dry and fired.

$45 per child, per session
(Includes clay, glaze, and firing costs.)

Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and relax in the creative studio space.

What to bring

Messy clothes! Think an old shirt, worn backwards for an arty vibe.

What we do

Each class begins with a quick studio tour and clay safety briefing. Then, we dive straight into shaping on the wheel and decorating.

Outcome

Every student will make and decorate a special ceramic artwork, which will be finished in our wood-fired kiln and ready to pick up at a later date.
