Duration: 5 X night classes (6:15 pm - 9:00 pm)

Workshop Outline:

Over five weeks students create a collection of ceramics.

Encounter all the stages involved from clay making, glazing to wood-firing!

From centering clay on the wheel to shaping and trimming, you'll learn essential skills.

Learn about and apply glazes to your works.

Prepare your work for wood-firing.

Students then fire their works in the on-site wood fired kiln on the Saturday afternoon following the final class.

Note: During the lessons students often go outdoors near the wood-fired kiln. For this reason we recommend wearing sturdy footwear and warm clothing during winter.
