Pottery Prelude is an introduction to clay and fire. In this relaxing class students focus on creating their own teacups.

Time: 10:15 am - 1:00 pm
Cost: $100 per person (includes clay and firing)

What to expect:

Create your own teacups using the pottery kick-wheels in the studio. Try out handbuilding techniques and sculpt your pieces.

Glaze your works using our natural glazes.

Learn about the onsite wood-fired kiln.

Pieces made on the day are then fired once they have dried.

Note: During the lesson students go outside and visit the wood-fired kiln. For this reason we recommend wearing sturdy footwear and warm clothing during winter.
